Introduction

Bihar is one of India's most spiritually and culturally rich states — the birthplace of Buddhism, Jainism, and home to one of Sikhism's most sacred sites. Yet rapid urbanization, political divisions, and misinformation increasingly threaten the centuries-old tradition of interfaith harmony that Bihar's communities have maintained. Our program runs community festivals, interfaith dialogue sessions, cultural exchange programs, and youth peace workshops to celebrate Bihar's diverse heritage and strengthen the bonds that unite its people.

Impact of the Cause

Over the past three years, we have organized 140+ community events attended by over 85,000 people across 10 districts of Bihar. Our youth peace ambassador program has trained 600 young people as community bridge-builders in their neighborhoods. Post-event surveys show 89% of participants reporting increased trust and positive sentiment toward communities different from their own. We have successfully mediated and resolved 14 local communal tensions before they escalated, in partnership with district administration. Our cultural documentation project has archived 300+ folk traditions, songs, and crafts at risk of disappearing.

How Your Donations Work

Building peace requires consistent, sustained investment in people and programs. ₹1,000 funds one youth peace ambassador's full training weekend. ₹8,000 sponsors a community interfaith festival in one village, including performances, food, and dialogue sessions. ₹30,000 funds a full month of our cultural documentation project, preserving one region's artistic heritage for future generations. We work with local religious leaders, artists, teachers, and youth organizations to ensure our programs are community-led and culturally sensitive. Every event is co-organized by representatives from multiple faiths and communities.

Transparency and Accountability

All events are documented with attendance records, photographs, and post-event feedback surveys. Our cultural archive is maintained as a free public digital resource accessible to all. Financial accounts are audited annually and published on our website. We operate with the formal support of Bihar's Department of Art and Culture and have received letters of appreciation from three district collectors for our peace-building contributions. Our governing board includes representatives from Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, and Christian communities, ensuring balanced and inclusive leadership.

Thank You

You have chosen to invest in something rare and precious — the belief that people can live together, celebrate together, and grow together despite their differences. In a world that is increasingly divided, that choice is both brave and beautiful. Because of you, a Hindu family danced at an Eid celebration in Darbhanga. Because of you, a young Muslim student learned about the Bodhi tree and felt proud that it stood in his homeland. Because of you, Bihar's ancient story of unity is still being written. From every community, every faith, and every heart you have touched — thank you.
